Foods That Cause Constipation

Several peoples who are aware about health consider that constipation is caused because the food which they have is low in fiber. Loads of food that cause constipation are foods that are processed and which include a lot of proteins and dairy products and also it includes wheat based foods which is fortified with iron or calcium. Actually a high level of calcium will reduce the movement of the muscles working of colon.

Dairy Products
Milk, ice cream, butter, butter, cheese, cream etc are high in saturated fat and it contains very low fiber. These type of foods are not even slows down bowel movement but is risky for cardiovascular diseases too.

Caffeine
Coffee, black tea and chocolate contains caffeine which causes dehydration, in turn it makes high risk to get constipated. It makes restlessness, increase in urination, intraocular pressure, depression and insomnia. So it is better to limit these types of foodstuffs and drinks.

Processed food
These foods can heighten constipation. It is common in fast food eatables and packets. These types of processed food and refined foods are associated with constipation directly.
